W ild Service was commissioned by Saintbury Grounds Farm Partnership to undertake a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and a Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Assessment of Saintbury Grounds Farm in Evesham. The project includes enhancing 20ha of existing pastoral land which is used for grazing sheep to a more species rich grassland in addition to enhancing existing hedgerows and planting of native species rich hedgerows in order to provide positive Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG). This project undertaken in collaboration with Gloucestershire Nature + Climate Fund (GNCF, https://glosncf.com/) will be entered onto DEFRA BNG site register and thus be able to provide BNG units/credits as BNG offset for development.
