Tewksbury Nature Reserve Bridge

We are delighted to announce that the new footbridge constructed and installed by Wild Service at Tewksbury Nature Reserve is now open. The bridge was opened in July by the Mayor of Tewksbury, and a large crowd enjoyed the ceremony as two local schoolchildren cut the ribbon on the bridge.

The bridge is a 12m span, timber and steel construction, with a non -slip deck and two 9m approach ramps. All of the steel work is galvanised and the timber is hardwood from sustainable sources. The bridge was constructed on-site by our specialist contracting team who carried out all aspects of the job, and we are extremely proud of the completed project.
